Dear Mr Cameron,

In a response to the 100 business people who have written a letter to the Daily Telegraph in support of your flagship policy of progressively lowering Corporation Tax to 20% you said the following: "Today it is an unprecedented intervention by some of the business leaders in the best-known business, large and small, in our country saying the Conservative long-term plan is working, generating jobs. That is a very clear message from business leaders who, like me, care about jobs and wealth creation and prosperity and livelihoods in our country."

This is my response to you and them.

I have written 1,046 letters over three years supported by over 13,000 people (that I know of), with many hundreds of thousands of shares regarding your war on the poor and the ever increasingly toxic effects of the policies and practices of you and your government.

I am just one of a list of people that I would be embarrassed to start for fear of missing superb work, undertaken without reward or favour, driven by conscience, touching the lives of millions in this country and yet entirely ignored by you.

Letter writers, bloggers, vloggers, artists, musicians, poets, alternative media, activists, protesters, of every age, in unprecedented numbers, who are merely the vanguard for millions of ordinary people in this country betrayed and abandoned by you and your government.

13 million people living in poverty, desperate millions hit by the bedroom tax, sanctions, caps to council tax and housing benefit, catastrophic housing crises, disabled people the hardest hit by a whole raft of punitive cuts and sanctions, low pay, no pay, zero hours contracts and forced labour under Workfare.

And, lastly, our dead, many taking their own lives in despair, who we privately and publicly remember. A group of my personal friends organised one of the earlier events of remembrance called 'We shall overcome', but there have been hundreds since. We do not forgive and we will not forget and that, Mr Cameron, is unprecedented, not silly people lauding you for a tax break. With 60% of your austerity cuts still to come, this country cannot afford another five years of you or your-long term plan that works for the few at the expense of the many.
